Privacy Policy — Beach Tennis Score

Last updated: July 25, 2026

No data collection

Beach Tennis Score does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.

Match data

Match history is stored exclusively on your device using Apple’s on-device storage (SwiftData). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to the app developer.

Health data

Nothing is read from or written to Apple Health until you allow it. The first time you start a match, the Apple Watch asks for your permission; if you decline, the app keeps scoring matches exactly as before. You can revoke access at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Health, and you can switch the feature off yourself with the Health Monitoring toggle in the app’s settings.

While it is allowed and on, during a match the app:

The workout records only what you actually played: its duration and energy come from the watch as the match happens, and are never padded or estimated upward. If you cancel a match in its first two minutes, the workout is discarded rather than saved, so an accidental start leaves nothing behind. A match you cancel after that point is saved, because the exercise was real even though the match went unfinished.

Health data is read from and written to Apple’s Health app on your own devices. It is never transmitted to the developer or to any third party, and it is not used for advertising, marketing, or any purpose beyond the ones listed above. Deleting the app does not delete workouts already saved to Apple Health; you can remove those from the Health app itself.

Apple Watch communication

The app communicates between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple’s WatchConnectivity framework. This communication is local, encrypted by the operating system, and stays between your own devices. It carries match results — scores, the team names you chose, and, when Health Monitoring is on, the match’s average heart rate and active calories — along with your app settings and whether Health access was granted on the watch.

iCloud

The app does not use iCloud or any other cloud storage.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in ways that affect data collection, this policy will be updated before those changes take effect.
